Due in large part to the writers’ strike (and my DVR being dry), I’ve been reading a lot of books lately. I’m going to try to post a photo of books that I finish with a quick review.Bright Lights Big City by Jay McInerneyOne of those “You’ve lived in New York for X years and you’ve never read Y?!?!” books. So I decided to read it. Well worth the day or two it took to get through. Follows the life of a twenty-something guy in the media world in 1980’s NYC as he figures out his life priorities. 8/10.
