When I bought my Prius, a good part of the reason was because I wanted to be a part of the “reduce global warming” effort. Even though I realized it was a drop in the bucket in comparison to the damage India and China do every day burning coal, I figured it was better to put the drop in the bucket than not.
But now I’m starting to see the benefits. Josh told me the other day that if he had my car, he’d save $50 going back and forth to the Hamptons. That means that I can buy approximately twenty-five things off the McDonalds dollar menu on my trip each way and still spend the same amount as him! Take THAT, Josh!
